Logopsycom is an educational innovation centre from Belgium that runs several dozen projects funded by European programmes. Each project has partners, a timeframe, materials to download and its own target group. Laying out pages like these by hand in a visual editor ends in a mess within a few months. Every subpage looks different, and adding a new project means copying an old page and correcting it.

A graphic designer I work with prepared the design, and I was responsible for the development and deployment. I built the website in WordPress with Elementor, but based the project catalogue on dynamic data, with a custom “project” content type, taxonomies for topics and target groups, and fields for partners and dates. The project lists and the single project page are JetEngine templates: the client’s team fills in the form fields, and the layout is generated automatically, always in the same format.
Two language versions, an articles section and a newsletter sign-up were added as well, all of them pixel perfect.

Logopsycom’s team adds new projects without the developer’s involvement and without the risk of breaking the layout. The catalogue can be searched by topic and target group, and every project page has the same predictable structure, for users and for Google.
